READY TO MAKE THIS?

Directions

1

Create a symmetrical paper template by folding your plain paper in half and drawing half of a bunny head with the crease at the center.

2

Use your template to draw the bunny head shape onto your cardboard. You’ll need two per piñata.

3

Cut out the bunny head shape from your cardboard. Then cut several long strips of cardboard about 1.5 inches wide.

4

Glue or tape the cardboard strips around the edges of one bunny head cutout to serve as the side walls of your piñata. Once you’ve attached the strip all the way around, you can fasten the second bunny head on top. Leave a flap open at the top to fill your piñata with candy later.

5
Bunny Step 5

To make the bunny’s fur, cut your tissue paper into strips and then snip along one edge to create a fringe.

6
Bunny Step 6

Starting at the bottom, glue your fringed tissue paper strips onto the surface of the cardboard and continue layering the strips on top, overlapping slightly, until you reach the top. Glue strips onto the side pieces too, until the entire surface is covered — and looking very fluffy!

7
Bunny Step 7

Next, add your bunny’s cute face! Cut circles out of your black construction paper to use as eyes. The ears, mouth and cheeks can all be made from pink paper or any color you like!

8

Use twine to create a loop for hanging.

9

Fill your Easter bunny piñata with HERSHEY’S KISSES Milk Chocolate Candy, REESE’S Miniature Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups or other candy, hang it up, and get ready to swing!
