REESE’S & CADBURY Egging Basket

Details

This Easter, REESE’S and CADBURY Candies are flipping the script on “egging”, turning an age-old prank into a revived tradition that’s all about fun, surprises, and, of course, chocolate! If you’re wondering what “egging” is, it’s surprising loved ones by decorating their front porch, office or classroom with treats and Easter decor. Then they pass the fun on to someone else. Grab your REESE’S and CADBURY Eggs and get started with tips from Jasmine Roth (HGTV Star and DIY Guru).

Directions

1

Get your goodies – Stock up on REESE’S and CADBURY Eggs, some colorful plastic eggs, and a few fun spring decorations.

2

Pick your target – A friend, a neighbor, a coworker—anyone who could use a little Easter joy (and will help spread it too)!

3

Egg them! – Set up a surprise with candy, signs, and decorations. Don’t forget to leave a “You’ve Been Egged!” sign to be passed along to the next egging.

4

Share the fun – Post your egging adventures on social media and tag @reeses and @cadburyusa to keep the chain going.

Tips From Jasmine:

  • Keep it cost-effective! No need to purchase additional fancy décor; there’s lots of ways to utilize the products themselves to add a pop of Easter to any egging scene, including nestling them within flower displays, glued onto wreaths or even laid across a tablescape.
  • Keep colors consistent. In order to tie everything together, try to keep your egging scene within the same Easter color family to make it even more festive. In my case, I used REESE’S orange and CADBURY purple to make everything look cohesive.
  • Mix and match eggs. Feel free to have fun with mixing an array of different types of REESE’S and CADBURY Eggs, mixing multiple wrappers, textures and shapes within your egging scene.
  • Capture the moment. While planning out your egging is important, the best part of any egging moment is the element of surprise. Be sure to take photos of your masterpiece before, during the reveal, and after the egging and share on social media to inspire your friends and followers to continue the chain for Easters to come!
