STRAWBERRY REDUCTION

  1. Combine 16oz frozen strawberries with 2 Tbsp sugar and 2 Tbsp water in a medium pot.   
  2. Cook on medium to low heat for 10 minutes or until thickened.
  3. Mash with a potato masher or fork before serving.
  4. Serve hot over waffles or make ahead of time and cool. (Tip: A cornstarch slurry can be used to make syrup thicker or make the cooking process quicker.)
